Hi well am hoping come next Tuesday the cast will come off and I can get back into exercise am figuring swimming will be a good option to begin with to strengthen the leg. Weight wise I am sure I have gained a couple of kilos but am ok with that cause I am so motivated and looking forward to getting back into things properly. I have about 18 weigh ins till the end of the year and am going to aim for a 20 kilo loss over this time so watch out cause come next week I am back and rearing to go.

A Bit About Me
Well where do I start - I am a mum to twins who are nearly 13 years old(boy/girl), and live in the sunny Bay of Plenty in the North Island of New Zealand. I have had a weight problem for many years due to being an emotional eater, finally I got some help with the emotions and this year being 2008 decided it was time to do something about my weight. So I set myself a goal to lose 50 kilos in 52 weeks, this was going on target till I broke my leg in July and was in a cast and no exercise for 8 weeks. But this was just a temporary glitch and am back into it, instead of 50 kilos I am now aiming for 40 kilos which will still be a great achievement. As I write this I have lost approx. 25 kilos and have about 50 kilos to go so come 2009 I will have approx. 30 kilos to goal. I completed my first 1/2 marathon in May which I walked but next year I am going to run/walk it.
I am not doing any particular diet plan but just exercising 6/7 days and watching what goes in my mouth and drinking minimum 2litres of water a day. Recently I have met this most awesome guy who is a great support so life for me is pretty fantastic right now, so there is no better time than now to focus on weightloss that right now. So come and join me and follow my journey as I get to my goal weight of 70-73 kilos.

Weigh in is a Wednesday and on the photo page I will be updating the photos for every 15 kilos gone.
